Hi Y’all,

Celiac Portland started this blog page in the hopes to create a resource that would make managing Celiac Disease a little bit easier. We plan to post information about Celiac research, Gluten Free recipes, advice for managing Celiac Disease, Gluten Free products and more. Since Fall is beginning we decided a great first post would be Celiac Style, Pumpkin Spice Latte’s.

When diagnosed with Celiac Disease, you often have to learn to make adjustments to your favorite foods. Latte’s at coffee shops often have fillers that contain gluten or they have come into contact with gluten making them a no go for Celiac’s. However, there is great news. You can make your own latte’s at home with just a few ingredients.

My favorite is latte is Pumpkin Spice. All that is needed is Almond Milk, Brewed Coffee, Pumpkin Puree,  Pumpkin Spice Spice (can use a combination of cinnamon and nutmeg as a replacement), and Maple Syrup. I am all for simple recipes with as little ingredients as possible.

The original recipe I went off of was one by Against All Grain. She has some great Gluten Free recipes on her website. Here is the link to the Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe.

Hope you enjoy some of these this Fall!
